Always Arriving

 human beings:

we fear

beginning 

without knowing

when we will be done.

human beings:

living is our

flesh and blood adventure.

spirits journeying together

into waiting after lives.

human beings:

one day

we’re born,

we live, 

we grieve,

we celebrate,

and one day,

we pass on

to become

ancestors. 

human beings:

it all matters.

life is not linear.

it is cyclical

and labyrinthine,

obstacles and solutions, 

learnings and unlearnings,

ebbs and flows,

meanderings.

human beings:

having not yet arrived,

we are continually arriving.
